11 Days and counting...

11 Days and counting...
Barrack Obama has now been our President for 11 days and is already showing his true extreme left wing attitude and decision making.
First, the new Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, that he nominated, seemed to think it was above him to have to pay taxes like the rest of us...for 4 years! Not only that but he and his buddy, Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY )( who also didn't pay taxes on an income property) apparently avoided paying any late fees or penalties. This is the guy that is going to be in charge of making you pay your taxes. If you have ever seen a Federal job application, it clearly states that if you owe the federal government money it could make you ineligible for a job. I guess that only means if you apply for a low level job, not a high-level Cabinet position.
Geithner is also the guy that is asking that a former lobbyist be hired as his aid. Hmmm... Isn't that what Mr. Obama said would not happen in his administration because he wanted to clean up corruption in Washington, D.C.
One of Mr. Obama's first acts as President was to sign the executive order to close the Gitmo detention center with in a year. I am OK with that decision, but shouldn't we actually have a plan in place for what to do with the detainees before we actually announce that Gitmo will be closing? I mean how many of you out there want these guys kept in your neighborhood? Former President Bush asked a few countries if they would take some of these people off our hands ( most notably Australia), and surprise!... No takers. Oh well, never fear, I am sure the new U. S. Attorney General Eric Holder, a man who assisted former President Clinton pardon terrorists ( of which he said he had no regrets in doing), will come up with a plan.
Now let's talk about bi-partisanship. President Obama promised a bi-partisanship approach to solving our current economic crisis. Apparently after asking a few Republican leaders over to discuss his plan, in a show of bi-partisanship, Obama and his Democrat cronies, reluctantly shaved the so-called "stimulus" bill from a mere $825 billion, to a minuscule $819 billion. Now as the Senate gets ready to debate the package, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and others are baffled about why all the Republicans and even 11 democrats voted against it in the House. Maybe it is because only about a third of the bill actually has a possibility of creating jobs most of which are in construction ( which is definitely needed) but a lot of it goes to other pork barrel spending, like the National Endowment for the Arts, std research, and of course Global warming research, no doubt brought on by the B-list Democrat all-star and all around hypocritical blow hard, AL Gore. Maybe a few politicians actually grew a brain and see the term "inflation" coming in a few years after the ink runs out on the Treasury's printing presses.
When we throw around amounts in the hundreds of billion dollars let's not forget that that is your money, my money, and all of our money, but hey, maybe we could just tax a billion or two from Oprah, then again does Oprah actually have to pay taxes?
Lastly, The illustrious Savior of our Nation promised transparency. In a show of transparency Obama walked through a stream of press for an unscheduled appearance. When asked a question about an aforementioned lobbyist being hired Mr. Obama quickly clammed up and shunned the reporter for daring to actually ask such a question of him. He is the President of the United States, what the hell does he expect!
In his second show of transparency he recently granted his first press interview, too bad it was with an Arab Network not one in the Good Ole USA. I am sure MSNBC's Kieth Olbermann and Rachel Maddow would be pissed that they weren't granted the interview... that is if they had the time to pull their collective heads out of his Posterior.

Wake up America...The star studded honeymoon with Obama needs to end!
He has yet to walk on water or change water into wine, or DO anything.

Tell me what you think, good/bad, love me /hate me!
